Carina Cloud runs the same MIT kernel you can self-host, but we manage hosting, sessions, and the browser workspace. You bring your LLM keys (BYOK). Scout security is a separate paid product. Ops is coming soon.

Step 1

Sign up

Create an account at app.carinaai.uk. Your org and agent workspace are provisioned automatically.

Step 2

Add API key

Paste a provider key in Settings. Inference cost stays with your provider account.

Step 3

Choose a pack

Start with the general-purpose agent or enable a domain pack from the Hub when you need vertical tools.

Step 4

Chat

Send your first message. Core tools, memory, and channels are live on the same kernel as self-host.

Kernel vs Cloud vs Scout

  • Carina kernel (MIT): free to install with npm install -g carina-agent or Docker on your own infrastructure.
  • Carina Cloud: managed hosting plus browser UI at app.carinaai.uk. Free tier for personal use; paid Ops plans for teams.
  • Labyrinth Scout: commercial security layer (injection shield, audit, kill switch). Not bundled with the free kernel or Cloud free tier.
