COMPASS, powered by Carina, is a compliance copilot for policy classification and audit-ready agent summaries. Status: in development. It is not deployed in NHS production and is not a medical device.

The problem

Healthcare operations teams need agents that respect policy templates, human approval for high-risk actions, and traceable summaries. Ad-hoc LLM chat lacks tool governance and pack-scoped knowledge boundaries.

COMPASS explores decision support for internal evaluation: helping staff navigate policy text and draft audit notes, not diagnosing patients or replacing clinical systems.

Scout (planned)

Scout integration is planned when the pilot expands beyond internal evaluation. Scout adds commercial audit, kill switch, and injection protection for governed tool calls. See the Scout case study.

Results

No NHS production metrics to publish. COMPASS has not completed a live NHS trust deployment. Metrics on this page will appear only after verified pilot outcomes and appropriate sign-off.
